And...introducing my best work yet...

soon-to-be-sister-in-law's-shower

With the new baby, i haven't had time to craft, but about a month ago, we had a bridal shower for my brother's fiancee...here's what I made.
Their wedding colors are baby blue and peach.
My mom and I also made her a towel cake. I die cut washi and mulberry paper to make the flowers.

MIM #12 - Line frames

Here's my attempt at PTI's Make it Monday challenge. Try as I may, I have issues with drawing straight lines! LOL! And, to make matters worse, the silver gel pen I was using kept smudging. It's a good thing I found some little punches to use to cover up the smudging! =)

PTI April Blog Hop Challenge

This month's challenge was to create a male card, using masculine colors, etc...I've been waiting patiently for my new PTI stash to come in. I think the thing that excites me the most about all the boy stamps is that there's so many colorable images! One of my faves is the rocket! So, that's what made it into my blog challenge card. This was a fun card to make!

Happy Anni to my awesome HUBBY!

Today is our 4th wedding anniversary (altho we've been together for 14 years now)! Because he let me buy some PTI goodies for my birthday a few weeks ago, and I went a little over my budget, I told him all I wanted was a card. =) After "teaching" him about not wasting my precious PTI papers, using the blocks and stamps, using the dies with the big shot, I was kicked out of the room for him to create. Two and a half hours later, this is the fruit of his labor of love. Can I just tell you how much I love this man?! Happy Anniversary BUBBA!

Some Easter tags

The hubby's co-worker wanted me to make some Easter taggies for some kiddie baskets she was giving away. Here's two of the eight that I made.

PTI bLoG hOp

Woo, this one was a difficult one for me! That's what I'm soooo late! I had absolutely no mojo!

I used limitless layers to make the lion and since I didn't have any other ideas for eyes, I stitched them in. This was especially difficult, since I have NO..NONE..NADDA skills with a needle and embroidery thread! LOL.
